Tobis loyalty and affinity for being close to people makes him an amiable companion dog. He was transferred to us from the Lancaster County Animal Shelter in California through our Second Chance Program we could help find him a new home. Tobi is a graceful, alert, swift-moving little dog with a saucy expression, compact little body, and a Chihuahua personality. This little guy is too tiny to live in a home with young boisterous children, because their rough handling/play could injure Tobi without meaning to. On the other hand, he may be perfect for a pet owner who loves to pamper, take for walks, and love this little guy to pieces.

Bear is a wonderful older gentleman who’s looking for his forever home. He is very sweet and knows his basic commands–and he loves to have his belly rubbed. Bear has spent a lot of his life outdoors but would love to find a home where he can be inside with his new family. He would benefit from daily walks to help keep him slim and healthy. Bear can be a little picky about who his friends are and would like to meet any dogs in your residence before adoption. Also because Bear can be a little grumpy at times we would like to see him go home to a family with older children (13 and up). Bear’s adoption includes a medical consultation. Waffle seems oblivious of his small size and he is always eager for an adventure. He was transferred to us from the Merced County Animal Control through our Second Chance Program so we could find him a new home. This little dog is energetic and very clever. He will make someone a fantastic lap dog if given the time to adjust to his new family and surroundings. Waffle is affectionate with her caregivers, but he does not do well with over-handling. If a lap dog or travel companion is what you are looking for, then Waffle is the right match for you.

Bubba is a very happy, loving little guy who is looking for a home without small children. He is not used to toddlers or young children, so any children in his new home must be older. He likes to go for walks and for rides in the car, loves to play with toys and likes other dogs. He seems to be smart as he knows many commands. Bubba is used to being an inside dog who runs loose inside the home and is allowed on the furniture.

Come play with Brooks, he LOVES attention. He has been through a few homes over the last couple of months and is in need of a loving, breed experience home where he can lay his head for life. He has a good history with female dogs and he will need a cat free home. Brooks will need plenty of daily exercise to keep him happy and healthy. He tends to get overwhelmed at the dog park; therefore his new owners will need to exercise him in other ways. Brooks would love an active home where he can get consistent training and exercise. If you are an athletic person with some dog training experience Tulip needs you. She is a sweet girl who will gladly accompany you on all of your adventures. This smart dog would be happiest and healthiest with someone able to give her daily exercise and polish her training. Tulip is crate-trained and knows basic manners however, a training class is a great way for her to continue down the path of becoming a good canine citizen, not to mention a way for her to bond with her new person. Meet Presley! She is a very vocal and energetic hound who is looking for an active home where she can get the exercise that she needs! Presley is going to need a home with no young children because she likes to play rough and has a very high energy level.
