I am Rex, king of all treats and snuggles! I love my people more than anything; food is a close second. I know to go potty outside, and I walk well on leash. I am a gentle kind of guy, happy to rest my head on your lap or lie by your feet. I want to be near someone all the time, so if you spend much time away from home, I might not be the best match for you. I’ve lived with cats and we got along just fine, but I think I’d prefer to be the only dog in the home. I would be pleased as punch to go home with someone who has older kids who know to be gentle with and respectful of me! Tipper is a kind older lady that would appreciate a quiet home to live out the rest of her golden years. She came in with her best friend Shelby and will need to go home with her. They have lived with one another for 8 years and appreciate each others company. Tipper is a little bit more outgoing than her sister and usually helps her sister come out of her shell. Tipper is pretty independent and likes doing her own thing but will come up to you for cuddles when she feels like relaxing. She will need to go to an adult only home as busy environments make her nervous and she is not used to small children. Aside from that, Shelby enjoys a good play session with racquetballs so that she can keep them away from her sister! Tipper was recently groomed by Deena at D’tails Dog Salon who donated her time to make her look the best she can be!

Yogi is a pretty cool dog. He knows a lot of tricks and can even balance a treat on his nose. He loves playing with toys and enjoys fun games with his human companions and after you give him some time to get to know you better, he becomes extrememly affectionate. Yogi will need an adult-only home or older kids as he just can’t tolerate smaller kids well. He would love a large fenced in yard in a quiet area. He’s not an apartment dog! Yogi is looking for someone who can provide him with quiet daily walks and a good diet to ensure that he is happy and healthy. His new home will also need to be a cat-free home. Dallas is a loving and loyal boy in need of a special home. Dallas is a typical hound in every way, except he is blind. He enjoys following his nose and going on new adventures. Dallas will need someone who is patient and understanding when it comes to his needs. When outside and going on daily outings Dallas will need to remain on a leash, as his nose will quickly guide him elsewhere. His new home will need to be one with no young children, and any children must respect his space and understand his needs. Dallas startles easily and can be sensitive to being touched. He will also need a cat-free home. A training consultation is included in his adoption.

She does jump up on people when she wants attention, but she tries to be very gentle about it. Stella came to us from the Baldwin Park L.A. Shelter in California through our Second Chance Program.
