I am Rex, king of all treats and snuggles! I love my people more than anything; food is a close second. I know to go potty outside, and I walk well on leash. I am a gentle kind of guy, happy to rest my head on your lap or lie by your feet. I want to be near someone all the time, so if you spend much time away from home, I might not be the best match for you. I’ve lived with cats and we got along just fine, but I think I’d prefer to be the only dog in the home. I would be pleased as punch to go home with someone who has older kids who know to be gentle with and respectful of me! So, I know its going to be warmer towards the end of this week (at least at the time of this writing)… that said, tis the season for slow cooking! Have you ever experienced such a wonder? I absolutely love it. Slow cooking is one of my favorite things ever. Simply throw some ingredients in a pot, turn it on, leave your house, and voilà! You return home several hours later, and everything is done. Tenderly cooked, piping hot. So delicious. And as an added bonus.. when you come home your house smells like Cracker Barrel (thats a restaurant in case youre not familiar) It just doesnt get any better than that. I just bought myself a slow cooker yesterday and on the very first day of bringing it home, made the BEST homemade vegetable soup, using all locally grown vegetables. Sooo good!

Apparently lots of people do! Crooked teeth are seen as imperfections in many western countries, and particularly in America, where braces are practically a God-given gift to man, but in Japan, a country where almost everything is different, they are considered cute, even adorable. And now there are salons that specialize in making straight teeth crooked!

What the heck is chasing this boat off the coast of Sweden?   Is it a submarine…a fish with a buoy attached to it…or some type of alien craft?   For now…nobody is certain!

Zookeepers in China were given this furry little fella by a “mysterious old man”. And so far, nobody knows what it is? Just for good measure, I wouldn’t get it wet!
