It’s nickname is “The Blob” and the German designers behind it say it may someday replace the need for human love because this robot is actually programmed to fall in love with it’s owner!

This is the message we received from “Lisa” (not her real name),  the Buzz listener that was in desperate need of assistance for herself and her young son.   We put out the call for help and immediately Buzz listeners responded.

We have so much to be thankful for this year thanks to you all, the Buzz listeners, so many awesome people.

I hung the cards I received near my kitchen, we decorated our (first) Christmas tree today, it’s beautiful. (Teddy) sat in his new highchair and ate green beans, turkey, roll, and lots of mashed potatoes! (He pretty much painted the thing in potatoes. :)

He wore a new onesie that he recieved that had a turkey on it and said ‘gobble gobble’. He chased various new toys around our apartment and mommy helped him discover what some of them did.

I won’t have to buy diapers for at least a month, or purchase wipes for 3 months! And we’re all set with laundry soap for probably the next year! I’ve worn a new coat when we’ve had to go out and it is so warm, I love it! :)

I have sorted most of the baby clothes and shouldn’t need to purchase any for (Teddy) till he’s 2!

I paid off the overdue power bill with a couple of the gift cards and it feels good to know we won’t be getting a shut off notice.

It’s way more than I could have ever dreamed of. We have been so blessed!! I hope all of you and your families had a wonderful holiday. Thank you and God bless you all.

Love,

Lisa and Teddy

According to a family & relationship expert, there are 7 major Holiday blunders that your family won’t forget (and maybe won’t forgive), so avoid (if you can):

1. Criticizing a nephew (or niece).
This is the toughest one for me. My daughter was always a model of civility, so little monsters make me nervous! This expert recommends that instead of announcing how you feel out loud, allow his parents to reprimand him. If they aren’t saying anything, just politely pull them to the side and ask for a bit of help.

2. Bringing a smelly, inedible dish.
This is mainly so you don’t end up being the butt of family jokes forever. If you can’t cook, buy something to take!

3. Telling a scandalous family secret.
For every entertaining family secret, there are ten awkward, uncomfortable ones…..trust me, we don’t really want to learn something scandalous about a family member, while we are trapped in a house for hours with them!

4. Arguing with your boyfriend/spouse.
This is another tough one. It’s hard to hide your feelings!

5. Passing gas at the dinner table.
Did this really need to be on the list? LOL! I would think most people would be horrified to be the one who does this, but I guess there are still some outgrown frat boy types who think this is hilarious.

6. Having sex with a relative’s man.
Once again, does this really need to be said? If you share DNA with someone, their man/woman should be off limits all year long, right?

7. Eating and running out the door.
Yes, you have another Thanksgiving to get to….or maybe your family drives you nuts…..but someone worked for a week or more to make this day special, so stick around and enjoy it a little!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!

Sheryl is auctioning off her $10,000 sq. ft. Tennessee home.  It’s called Cross Creek Farm and is on 150 acres.  It includes 5 bedrooms, 7 full baths, a music studio, theater and 6-car garage.  It’s also a fully functional “Solar Farm” that lowers electric costs by 40%.  There’s a modern 14 stall barn and a large pond.  The current bid is at $1million and bidding ends at 6pm Central tonight.

Um…did she not put a reserve on this????

A farmer in Indiana has a big stinky problem on his farm.    He has a lagoon filled with cow manure that is going to be processed into fertilizer.   But the black plastic bottom liner has risen to the surface and now there are huge bubbles of manure and methane gas.   And no one is sure how to get rid of them….if you pop them, it could send manure (and methane gas) for miles in all directions!

Awe how sweet.  The cheaters Tony Parker & Erin Barry photographed with their unwitting spouses.  Check out the fun Grease spoof they made.  That’s Erin Barry (as Rizzo) kicking Eva (as Sandy).
